GENERAL RULES:

1. Each user is allowed 1 (one) character at a time. When/if that character dies, you are allowed to make a new character.

2. Only Admins and Moderators may have characters who have the backstory of Beta tester. This is to avoid people trying to claim the title in an attempt to seem superior.

3. Each person must have a signature with their character name and a <> following it set to one of the following colors: Green for good, Orange if you've committed a crime/wounded another player, and Red if you've killed another player. This Diamond will be an IC part of your character. Separate your personal signature from it with a:

if necessary.

4. Your character's level is determined partly by your gear, and partly by what floor your character is on. Admins and Moderators, should they choose to have 'Beater' (Beta testers who have unfair knowledge/cheat) or Beta Tester characters will probably start out ahead at level, but in the spirit of fairness no one is allowed to be more than 5 levels above their highest floor. For instance, if your character is on the front lines of floor 40, they may only be a maximum of level 45. This does not, however, prevent you going back to the lower floors. Your Character level must be displayed in your signature as well.

5. Killing other players at a whim is allowed. If you plan a surprise attack on a player, you are allowed what will be called two post kills. One post regarding an attack that significantly depletes their life, and a second one that specifies you killing them. However, if that character you are attacking is a higher level than you, they have a chance to detect you. All attacks that are not sneak attacks must be phrased in such a way that the defending player can have an opportunity to block or counter. Player on Player killing is to be heavily moderated by myself, Ace, and Phoenix, so we would appreciate it if you were to send one of us a PM if you're about to kill another player so that we can help insure the situation is fair for everyone.

6. Skills such as cooking and blacksmithing are allowed, but as with leveling your characters, you are not allowed to master a crafting skill unless your character is at least level 45 and on any floor between floors 40 and 50.

7. This is an alternate universe. While we are borrowing the setting from the anime, we request that there be minimal mention of canon characters or guilds.

8. On the subject of guilds, you need a full group of 3 to start a guild, and while the name of said guild is up to your members, it must not include profanity.

9. Mature threads are allowed, but must be tagged with a (Mature) after the title so as to wave off people who would want to avoid blood/gore and/or sexual content.
